Deli and Bread Connection in Kauai

Just ok..... I would avoid the hot sandwiches. I ordered the lobster and it was somewhat unappetizing. The classic deli sandwhiches seemed to be better quality.

I love this place and my only regret is that I don't get to eat here more often. I love their blt.

Fresh and yummy local place with a great fresh bread smell

So bummed with our recent experience. We have visited in past years & always friendly customer service & great food. Tonight we ordered around 5:45, didn’t receive our food until 6:35 & were told that they were closing @ 7:00 (website said they were open til 9:00). PNot a big deal, so we sat outside the deli. My BLT contained the ends of the tomatoes & the bacon was hard, crumbly little pieces. What a disappointment.

Lobsta’ Roll ($9.50, Real Lobster Salad, grilled with mushrooms, red onions & smothered with Swiss Cheese on a roll) is very delicious.

The sandwiches were tasty, but significantly smaller than expected for such prices. The service was very very slow.

Great place for soups& sandwiches. Fresh breads everyday, from sourdough, wheat, poi balls & sweetbreads.

Sandwich was OK. Got the poor boy and it was at least 12 inches long. Bread was decent. Good for a plane flight. Taste was 3.6/5 and atmosphere was 3/5.

So good omg! We got the Ruben and the TOPSS both amazing! I don't take great pictures but honestly these sandwiches were an A+ in my book! The Ruben was perfectly tangy and the bread and meat quality is unbelievable! ❤️❤️❤️

Delicious sandwiches, my favorite is the lobster roll! Cannot go wrong! Also the bread bowl is Onolicious! Only thing is the wait. I would recommend to call to pre order so u can get your food sooner than waiting...most times it's busy. But other than that I have no complaints, love deli and bread

You need to stop by here if you're on Kauai for their famous lobster roll! It's delicious!

Lobster roll was delicious and filling. And only $10. Staffing could be a little more friendly but who cares when the food tastes so good.

Over all I would have to say that we enjoyed our lunch here. My wife and son split a pastrami on rye. They said it was good, but not the best one they had ever had. I had the megalodon and it was exceptional.

holy moly the best clam chowder hands down. i travel from the west side to partake in this fabulous food. one of the best sandwich and soup shops that kauai has to offer. they can be made to your specifics. its a fast paced environment and always busy. so its best to call your order in

Deli and bread connection is located in the Kukui Grove shopping center. It is located near the Macy's end. The only reason I come here is the "lobsta roll" which usually takes a while for it to come out. But regardless for 8.75 it is very good. It comes out hot with melted cheese and just tastes awesome! I also enjoy their clam chowder in a bread bowl! Those are pretty much the 2 reasons I go here which are completely worth it. Yes the service is slow but they only have a few people working at any given time and I have seen the line out the door so obviously that says something about it.There is plenty of parking because it's at the mall. They have talked inside and there are summer tables outside add well that I believe are mask tables but it at least gets you outside.

I went here during my trip to Hawaii. I ate a sandwich here all but 2 days of my visit and I've been craving them for 9 years. Best sandwich I've ever had. The fact that I remember them from 9 years ago is testament.

They make all there own bread. Have two big screen tvs if you brain needs to shut down. Easy to get to. At the end by Macy's in The mall.

Another great place to get some great sandwiches and soup.

Absolutely delicious Reuben! Probably one of the best I have ever had. All the sandwiches, soups and salads look delicious and I am sure they are judging by my Reuben! Will 100% be stopping back on my next trip to Kauai

I love their sandwiches, but either order ahead of time or come in with patience. They have some of the best sandwiches on the island, don't forget dessert!

Rude staff and slow service

WOW! Anyone can make a sandwich but these guys have the bread that sets them apart. Not to take away from the amazing sandwich meat and cheese but when combined it’s the best sammy on the island!

Love the Chicado sandwich!! The best chicken salad with avocado, cheese and your choice of vegetables on a fresh French roll. Absolutely delicious. Super busy place. Deducted 1 Star because every time we ate there, we waited at least 20 minutes for our sandwiches.

The bread bowl here is the best I've ever had. After moving away from Kauai, I expected every bread bowl to be like theirs. It's not. From LA, to Chicago, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Vegas..I have never had one that was as yummy as theirs.Their clam chowder is also very good! I always reccomend this restaurant to everyone that visits Kauai and asks where to eat.

One of the island's oldest and great places to eat. Affordable and always freshly baked goods daily. Friendly staff and prompt service. Centrally located in heart of lihue.

Made sure to rush here before they closed. Arrived 30 minutes early only to be told the kitchen is closed. All the chairs are put up in the dining room as well. Why even have the door open? Serve customers until your close time or let people know about your new hours.

Love the bread bowls, French dip, lobster rolls, and triple chocolate parfait dessert!
